Technology Centricity versus Human Centricity

Application programming interfaces (API’s)  allow developers to rapidly create new products with data, functions, and other applications. 

API’s are now considered products in themselves.  The premise behind API management is to provide the reuse and scalable features as a template with version control and other powerful features.  Other object based concepts include containers, modules and micro services.  Now, a bottom-up development life cycle is established when the containers, modules, micro services and/or API’s are operationalized with a new instance for a new product.  The business is built on top of the technology.  Why rebuild the “house” entirely?
